The British Palate
A tongue-in-cheek stamp series on British food. The presentation pack is a play on “palette” and “palate,” drawing on the form of a paint sample fan deck. This brief was assigned in the first week of the term for study abroad students, and asked that the finished project present an opinion of British food. The colors of this palette are classic, since the featured dishes are traditional—bangers and mash, meat pie, mushy peas, and fish and chips—but muted as their tastes are. The backs of the cards have QR codes that link to recipes for each dish.
